i flooded work tonight

yeah so tomorrows gonna be a while... anyhow the story [img]tongue.gif[/img]


so i had to close up shop by myself tonight. might i add first time closing up by myself... they just didnt think 2 people needed to be on on a thursday night which was fine with me but i thought they would have more sense to make me be the one to close up [img]tongue.gif[/img]


i was breaking down the juicer. it was 5pm and the juice bar doesnt close till 5.30 so i was in the middle of serving coustomers and cleaning just trying to get everything done when i notice the sink isnt draining properly yet think nothing of it. well when i put the jucier parts in the dishwasher and started rinsing clothes i noticed my pants were getting a bit we (and no i wasnt peeing myself).


the dishwasher is right next to the sink as they are hooked up together somehow so that the dishwasher drains throught the sink but dont ask me im not the sexy plumer in the other thread.


so i noticed the wetness on my pants and look down to see the dishwasher over flowing. i stop running the water from the sink and open the dishwasher door to let all the water flow out [img]confused.gif[/img] so i walk over to the phone to call my boss who says call the plumer but call the owner first.


so i call.
ME:'michael hi, its michele i flooded the place. the sink got blocked and then it over flowed from the dishwasher.'
HIM:'OH GOD... this has happened before when i was there once its ok raddy ra just get a plunder from john across the road or ring anthony (step dad, his brother) and see if he can fiz it'
ME:'ok yeah, im real sorry about this... i'll call you back'


so i ring anthony and he moans and groans like a true male (just messing but he does moan and groan) but he says yeah hes on his way so in the mean time while i wait half an hour for them to arrive with a blimmin plunger i mop all this freaking water off the floor which is not an easy job and squeeze it into a bucket... a full bucket later they arrive and anthony manages to fix it and i just realise i have nothing more to say other than the fact what a great experience for first time closing by self [img]tongue.gif[/img]
